Volunteers help us in many ways, enhancing and supporting the children’s education and providing the school with services otherwise unavailable. SPCS has a volunteer requirement of 20 hours of time per family per school year, 10 hours each semester. Hours must be submitted by the end of each semester; hours do not carry over. Any adult family member may volunteer, including grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. Families also have the option of “buying out” their hours by paying $250 per semester at the beginning of the semester. Paying $25 per volunteer hour not completed within its required semester is mandatory.
Families earn one volunteer hour for every $25 spent on items purchased for the school. Visit the Amazon school registry to purchase frequently needed items and ship them directly to the school:
